FOUNDING AGENT PRODUCT MANAGER

Munich/San FranciscoFull-time

TL;DR

  • • Own the product stack powering agent memory, identity, and permissions
  • • Embed with top AI teams and ship infrastructure that moves the needle
  • • Work directly with founders to define primitives from first principles

ABOUT COBROWSER

CoBrowser is building the trust layer for the agent-native web - the secure infrastructure that lets AI agents act on a user's behalf with permission, memory, and control. We're creating the primitives agents need to authenticate, personalize, and perform secure actions in the wild.

Our first product, Kontext, gives agents persistent memory and scoped access to user data - boosting retention, engagement, and UX for the next generation of AI-native apps. It's already powering agents across productivity, search, and consumer experiences.

We're backed by a16z CSX and founded by operators from a16z, BCG, and the Ethereum Foundation. Together, we're re-architecting the web so agents can safely do things for people, not just talk to them.

We're an in-office team and our values - Integrity, Radical Transparency, Autonomy, Technical Excellence, Intellectual Curiosity, and a Long-Term View on success - shape how we work and grow as a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is not a traditional PM role. It's part product strategist, part systems engineer, and part customer-embedded problem solver.

As our Founding Agent Product Manager, you'll be on the frontlines with top agent teams - designing features, debugging edge cases, and reshaping our architecture based on real-world needs. You'll pair closely with Go-To-Market, Design, and Engineering and act as a force multiplier across product and customer deployments. You'll become a key source of customer insight guiding our long-term product roadmap.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • • Design and iterate on infrastructure for agent identity, memory, and permissioning
  • • Embed deeply with early customers to understand their stack, workflows, and blockers
  • • Translate customer needs into clean abstractions and API changes
  • • Drive architectural clarity by mapping use cases to backend capabilities
  • • Represent CoBrowser in technical conversations with strategic partners

YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS SOMETHING LIKE THIS

  • • 2+ years in a technical role: PM, forward-deployed engineer, founder, or full-stack dev
  • • Proficient in TypeScript; you understand OAuth, session tokens, and permission flows
  • • You can read backend code and reason about infra tradeoffs
  • • Strong communication—you've worked closely with external customers or devs
  • • High agency and self-direction—you don't need hand-holding or a roadmap to start building

EVEN BETTER IF YOU:

  • • Built developer-facing platforms or APIs
  • • Have exposure to ML, agents, or personalization infra
  • • Hold a CS degree or learned systems by doing—it's the mindset that matters
  • • Have early-stage or 0→1 startup experience

We believe everything can be learned. The only thing that holds you back here is how badly you want to solve it.
